The team create world-class, consistent waves for everyone, from complete beginners to experienced surfers, meaning groups can enjoy an authentic surf experience without relying on coastal conditions, tides, swell, or previous experience.

With flexible group options including dedicated surf areas, full lake hire, and expert coaching included in every session, The Wave is the perfect venue for corporate away days, conferences, school trips, university groups, and international visitors.

The experience goes beyond the water, with food and catering options available to suit every group, alongside overnight accommodation in our unique safari-style tents or the option to bring your own tent and camp on site.

Group booking procedures 

• The Wave has a dedicated Groups & Events team who support bookings from the initial enquiry through to on-site hosting on the day, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for every group.

Rates and pricing 

• The Wave does not currently offer commissionable rates or guaranteed FIT rates; however, they can provide tailored group packages depending on the requirements of the visit.

Coach access and parking 

• Coach parking is available in the main car park. There is a 15-minute walk from the car park to The Clubhouse. 

Enhanced and exclusive experiences

The Wave offers a range of exclusive and bespoke experiences that can be added to group bookings to create a truly memorable visit.

A full site takeover option allows groups to have exclusive use of the lake and tailor their sessions to their needs, including choosing specific wave settings and creating a completely personalised experience.

They can also arrange a selection of unique add-on activities to complement group bookings, such as yoga sessions, beekeeping experiences, breathwork sessions, and creative painting workshops. These additional experiences provide opportunities for guests to connect, relax, and enjoy a more immersive and memorable time at the site.

Product development and partnerships

While The Wave does not currently offer fixed direct packages for groups, they work closely with organisers to create bespoke experiences tailored to their needs.

Their event coordinators can help shape a complete itinerary that may include surfing, accommodation, food and drink, and additional activities that complement the group’s interests and objectives.
