Black Swan Sauna is a luxury outdoor wood-fired Finnish sauna experience overlooking peaceful lakes in the Wiltshire countryside, just 20 minutes from Bath.

Rates and pricing 

• Commissionable or net rates can be discussed for trade partners. 

Group sizes and event capacity 

• Private groups of up to 12 guests can be accommodated through rotating sauna sessions.

Coach access and parking 

• Black Swan Sauna cannot accommodate coach parties.
• Free on-site parking is available, and the venue is approximately 20 minutes from Bath and 5 minutes from Bradford-On-Avon. 

The private sessions are either 55-minutes, 2 hours or 3 hours long for sauna-only use, but they help tailor packages involving the Wild Herb at the Field Kitchen, which include Sauna + Lunch and in that case, groups could have a 2 hour sauna session with lunch and be on-site around 3 to 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Private sessions policy: 

• They cannot accommodate refunds.

• They can reschedule 55-minute sessions with up to 72hrs notice. For 2 hour sessions, they ask for 4 working days and 3 hour sessions, they ask for 7 days prior notice.

Exclusive private hire, guided sauna rituals with Sound bathing (on the grass or floating sound bath on the lake), seasonal wellness events, corporate wellness experiences and bespoke group packages.

Sustainability

The sauna was built by SaunaCraft, a Bristol-based sauna builder known for bespoke craftsmanship and a strong commitment to sustainable construction. Materials are sourced from small, local suppliers wherever possible. The external larch cladding is sourced directly from the Longleat Estate, with timber processed at a Wiltshire-based sawmill near Holt. All additional timber used in the build, including doors and windows, is FSC-certified.

The interior is finished with Thermo Aspen, a high-quality, long-lasting material that requires minimal treatment and enhances the natural sauna environment. The sauna design follows traditional Finnish and Swedish principles, optimising heat circulation and energy efficiency through careful proportions.

Black Swan Sauna operates off-grid where possible. Lighting and battery power are supplied by an on-site solar panel, reducing reliance on mains electricity. Firewood is sourced from a local wood supplier using locally felled trees that required removal, supporting responsible woodland management and minimising transport miles.

Natural, eco-friendly cleaning products are used throughout the site, and water use is managed carefully across showers and plunge pools. By prioritising local sourcing, renewable energy and durable materials, Black Swan Sauna aims to offer a high-quality wellbeing experience with a low environmental footprint.
